No-exam life insurance
How quick approval works, who qualifies, and what happens if standard underwriting is needed.
Today, many carriers offer quick approvals for people within their age and amount bands. They look at your answers, pharmacy records, driving history and other available data—skipping the medical exam. You might get a decision the same day. The quote for each carrier on this site shows whether an exam is required, could be required, or is not needed.
What it changes
Fast decisions do not mean no review. Your answers get checked, and policies based on untrue answers can be disputed for two years. The carrier may ask for more testing if their records raise concerns—you decide whether to go forward.
Who tends to qualify
Generally, applicants who are under roughly 60, seeking amounts under the carrier's limit, with no serious health conditions and no cigarettes for a year or so are eligible. Some carriers accept lab results from a recent doctor visit instead of their own exam.
Exams typically run 20 to 30 minutes and take place where you choose in the Lake Elsinore area, at no charge. Good health results can sometimes bump you into a better price tier, so the exam is not always bad news.
